To the One Who’s Exhausted

I see you.

I see all the weight that you’re carrying.

What they’ve said is true.

You’ve put the needs of others before your own.

Nothing is done for accolades.

It’s because you care.

Your love is great.

But you’re so tired you feel you can’t see straight.

Take a moment now for yourself.

Breathe in and fill your lungs.

The weight you’re carrying will be okay if you sit it down.

Focus on what is true.

God gives strength to the weary.

Peace for heavy hearts.

Knowledge to navigate decisions.

Patience for the messy moments.

Above all, He provides rest.

He knows it’s for the best.

He sees all that you’re carrying.

Nothing is too much for Him.

In the day-to-day life,

Don’t forget you are human.

You only get one body.

One life to live.

Exhale out the tension.

Do not carry it one moment longer.

God sees it all.

He knows your heart.

Cherish each moment along the way.

Even if it feels like a weight too great.

There is a purpose for everything.

You’re doing Kingdom work, it’s not meant to be easy.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Cast your cares on the One who was meant to carry them all.

You are not alone.

1 Peter 5:6-8

So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
